SnapNSell is a free tool that uses AI to identify items from photos and pull real sold prices from eBay — so you can tell in seconds whether something in a charity shop is worth buying to resell.

The Story

SnapNSell was built by KoL (Me!) a 15 Year Old from the UK, purely for fun. Just curiosity about what could be built when you combine an AI vision model with a bit of eBay data.

The idea came from going around a charity shop with a family friend (Yes i'm talking about you EggHead!), Seeing somthing cool and having absolutley no clue what it was!

What started as a weekend experiment turned into something genuinely useful and ive just been adding to it since!

AI identifies the item A vision model analyses the image and identifies the brand, model, and category then builds an eBay search query.

Real sold prices are pulled from eBay The tool searches eBay's completed listings — what items actually sold for, not just asking prices.

You get a buy/skip recommendation Based on real pricing data, you see a suggested list price, price range, and a BUY / WATCH / SKIP verdict — with eBay fees already factored in.
